1) From anywhere in the SOLV platform, click the SOLV logo in the top left-hand corner.

- This will open a drop-down menu

- Select "Templates" in the drop-down menu

2) In the Template section you will see any pre-loaded templates (these are marked "Provided").

- You can also create new templates here.

- Click on the red "New" button in the upper right-hand corner, to create a new template

3) Here you are creating a new template

- Give the template a unique name

*Message*

- You can build the template using a SOLV Message or a Custom Image of your own

- You can control the colors of the text and background

- If you are using the SOLV Message to create the template you need to create your message fields

- Use the grey "+ Message Field" button to add your custom fields

*Page*

- Just like building the Message, you can choose to use the SOLV Page or your own Custom Page

- To use a Custom Page, click the radio button and a bow will appear to add the URL of your page

- If you are using the SOLV Page, you can adjust text and background colors

- Your Account Name and Logo will be added automatically

- You can add an image by right-clicking the checked "Image" box

- Use the grey "+ Page Field" button to add custom fields

*Response*

- The Response Section sits at the bottom of your SOLV Page and gives visitors a way to contact you

- You can turn the Response Section on and off, using the Yes/No switch. This will add or remove the Response Section from your SOLV Page

- You can add you own custom text in the "Thank You Note" box provided

4) Adding Message Fields

- When you click the grey "+ Message Field" button, a box will open

- Here you can give your field a name, designate it as text, as date, a list of options or a number to be entered by the SOLV user sending a broadcast using this template

- You can describe the uses (you intended) for this template

- You can make fields fixed or editable (for users using the template for a broadcast) using the "Input" box

5) Adding Page Fields

- Just like before, when you click the grey "+ Page Field" button, a box will open

- The same controls are available to name, designate type and lock or unlock editing of the field

6) Once you have the Message and Page parts of the template looking the way you want, you can click the red "Create" button in the top right-hand side of the page.

You now have a new template!
