If you want to create a new broadcast, you will find the link in a few places in the platform.

a) You can go to the home screen (by clicking on the picture of the little house) next to the SOLV logo. You will find the link "Create a new broadcast" on the home screen.

b) You can click on the "Broadcasts" tab on the top of the page next to "house" icon. Once you get to that page (that will show you all your recent broadcasts and their results) you can click the red "Create" button in the top right-hand corner of the page.

1) The first step in creating a broadcast is to select a template. You do this by choosing an option in the drop-down menu in the "Template" box.

- Choose a template from your template library

- If you want to learn how to create a template look at this article How to build a Template

2) Once you have chosen a template, you can edit the template you have selected to prepare your broadcast.

*Important* Every broadcast has to have a unique name

- Fill in the fields in the Message and Page sections to deliver the message you want to the public

*Custom Image*

- If you want to use an ad you have created or another image, you can add them by:

a) Selecting the "Custom Image" radio button

b) Right-click on the checked "Image" box and selecting an image file from your computer

3) Now build your SOLV Page.

- This works just like building the SOLV Message

- Fill out the fields in the template that you want to (fields you leave blank will not appear in Messages or Pages)

- Add an image to your page by right-clicking on the checked "Image" box and selecting an image file from your computer

*Custom Page*

- If you want to use your own website (or a certain page), you can add it by:

a) Selecting the "Custom Page" radio button

b) Adding the URL of the page you want the visitors directed to

4) Select Locations and Budgets.

- First, select the locations you want your broadcast to reach. Depending on the country SOLV supports National, State, and District locations plus more "micro-targeted" locations like postal codes.

*Important* When you select a location, the "Estimated Reach" section (to the right) will display the estimated population of the selected locations and will recommend a budget. You don't have to use the recommended budget, it is there as a guide.

- Next, select the budget (the amount you want to spend on the broadcast)

-Finally, decide how long SOLV will take to deliver the broadcast. The default setting is ASAP but you can choose a number of days from the drop-down menu

5) Once you are happy with your broadcast details, you can create the broadcast as a draft

- Click the red "Create" button in the top right-hand corner of the screen

- This will save your campaign as a draft. You can access it again in the "Broadcasts" tab at the top left of the screen next to the home icon.

6) Once you have clicked "Create", you will remain on the same screen. However, the red "Create" button has now become a red "Publish" button.

- Pressing the red "Publish" button on the top right-hand side of the page will make a new box appear

- This box will show you the Message you have created/selected, the locations you want your broadcast going to, the budget you have decided for the broadcast and the duration of the broadcast

7) Once you have clicked "Publish" the payment box will open.

- This will help you to pay for your broadcast

- SOLV works on credits (which are just units of the currency your account is set to)

- If you had credits on the system you can pay with these credits

- If you don't have credits (or enough credits) you can buy the credits you need for your campaign using a Credit Card or by using PayPal

8) Once payment is complete, your campaign is scheduled to go live

- Your ads will be subject to suitability checks (this is usually very fast)

- You will be updated about the status of your broadcast via email and you can check the status of any of your broadcasts in the "Broadcasts" tab at the top left-hand side of the screen.

- The Broadcast tab will show the status of every one of your broadcasts and will also display the latest statistics
